Can’t wait for it to be installedGiven that I purchased this from Amazon warehouse I discarded the fact that it was missing a crucial o ring in the hot water line so water went everywhere when I first installed it.. thankfully I had a spare o ring .. aside from the miss sight of a missing o ring I am happy with the faucet .. it has great flow and it's nice to have a change from conventional faucetThe faucet is aesthetically terrific. Upon installation it looked and functioned exactly as I'd imagined or better. The install was easy; if you've installed a faucet ever then you likely won't need the rudimentary instructions that come with it. I would buy this again, and I would recommend to a friend along with the below explanation...The issue that I ran into with this faucet (and I'd venture to guess that this may be applied to other BWE faucets) was that after 4 months of use, what I assume to be part of the cartridge became lodged in the output of the faucet. I poked a hole (made a plus sign with a small knife) in the center of this bit to allow for water to better pass through, and I've included pictures of this as well as couple extra showing how to access the cartridge for anyone who needs it. Online resources are limited for BWE faucets, and in case you or someone you know has an issue I've typed some directions below...To access/remove the cartridge: - Generally a good idea to stuff a small rag in the drain so as to not loose any little parts - Pop out the red/blue circular hot and cold plastic cap from the faucet handle - Use a 2.5mm hex wrench to loosen the bolt about 2 turns. You do not have to remove the bolt to lift the faucet handle off. - Unscrew the thin metal trim ring - Using a pair of pliers, loosen the nut that secures the cartridge. When putting this back in, tighten about 1 full turn beyond hand-tight. Do not over tighten!Though it turned out that the cartridge itself wasn't clogged/broken in my circumstance, the behavior of the faucet led me to believe that was the case and so I did a bit of cross-referencing to find the replacement cartridge. Verry happy with purchase this is the second one i have bought. Just remember to check your hoses before you install. Just FYI Base of fauset twists off easy to get to the hoses.Absolutely love the faucet. My only complaint is it didn’t come with the faceplate but we found one to match it. The faucet is beautiful and looks amazing with our new sink. The water pressure is perfect. It’s easy to clean. It was very simple for my husband to install but to be fair my husband is very skilled in installations. This is an awesome faucet for a great price. Definitely recommendLove how it looks and preforms... But, the most impressive thing about it is how well made it is. Over years replacing faucets in homes that I have owned... I bought and installed 2 of these and this may be the most solidly constructed faucet that I have ever installed.Very highly recommended with two notes to consider: 1) it very definitely creates a farmhouse or industrial looks. 2) you must separately purchase a matching drain WITHOUT a popup.UPDATE: within the 1st month, the outlet channel of one of the two faucets that I installed has developed several quarter-sized and very noticeable white discolorations.Love the faucet but beware hoses are not tight up inside you need to unscrew the bottom piece off and tighten them . It does not tell you this in the instructions. otherwise we are liking the way the faucet looks and worksUpdate: After 10 months of service.One of my 2 faucets installed slowly started decreasing water flow. After the wife complained enough I tore it apart and found the problem. There were no answers on the web site for this issue but it should have made it longer than 10 months. Due to this I have taken 1 star away.----------------------------------------This faucet is working well. It was very easy to install.Shipping the one drain unit as part of the faucet should be done away with. I had to order the type for no overfill port so in the end I had an extra drain spout that couldn't be used.
